Trip Introduction

This trip might be the longest and most challenging experience of our lives.
We decided to get an old car and cross almost all of the Eurasian continent with it. Our old beauty got named “Kim Chi” and is a 17 year old SUV model “Musso” from the Korean car manufacturer Ssangyong.
Our trips starts mid of June in Prague from Tomas’ place. Before that, we did a lot of work on the car, mainly in Augsburg and performed a test drive to northern Italy to challenge “Kim Chi” with some mountain passes and the cold weather.
As you can see on the picture, our trip will be through many different countries, crossing a high variety of climate zones offering millions of precious moments and difficult challenges. About 20.000km of road and adventure are laying ahead of us!
As we selected an old car on purpose and will drive some very difficult roads, nobody knows if we will make all of the distance in the end. But nevertheless, we will try our very best and face all the problems awaiting us.
The biggest milestones of this trip will be:
Even though we did a lot of planning and research, there is so much unknown about this route, that we will just have to start driving and find it out!
Let this hell of a ride begin!
